![]() ![]() ![]() Plus, the fact that I did read it so fast + without skimming means that it was genuinely interesting and kept my interest. I’m in the midst of a several month-long book slump, so I really appreciate it when I can finish a book off quickly. One thing I really like about this book – and possibly the entire series – is that it reads really quickly. ![]() Also, as if that isn’t enough for one day, Steve – Ella’s biological father – is back from the dead, and he’s determined to take on the role of her father. The book starts where the last book ended: Reed Royal is the main suspect in Brooke’s murder, and Ella is shocked and unsure of whether or not Reed is the actual murderer. Note: There may be spoilers for the first two books in the series. It’s really easy to fall into the story because two books later I’m pretty familiar with the characters, and I guess murder mysteries just totally do it for me. I expected much of the same, if not worse, from this third installment, but as soon as I began reading it, I was kind of hooked. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the first book, but when I finally got around to the second one, I was beyond bored. Twisted Palace is the third book in The Royals series, and the last one that centers around Ella and Reed’s story. ![]()
